Siblings and what they did.

I just thought of this in another thread.

My brother was a sod (elder). He tied me up to the mains once and asked me how it felt. He bought an elephant crossbow and we went to the field and he fired it up vertically playing 'DARE'. The bolt came flying down into the ground a 1,000ft per second next to us. If it hit us it would have gone straight thru our brains.

Did your elder siblings try things out that you look back on and think, "God, how am I still alive?"

I was walking down the garden path [I was about 5 or 6] and my elder sister [aged 7-ish] picked up a building brick and broke it in half on the top of my head.

I'm the eldest, but -

I threw rocks at my brother's head. I made spear out of a stick and tried it out on him (it worked pretty good.) I beat him up most of the time (once in while I'd catch one in the ghoulies and lose.) And so on... thats what elder siblings are for.

Of course, he did most of that kinda crud to me too.

My older brother used to wait up for me to make sure I got home safe whenever I went out. This went on until I left home at 20!!! I can't ever remember him being unkind to me.
