Simon and Garfunkle

S&G are coming to Holland!
Alas, I have a youth activity that day (I'm taking a bus load of 12 to 17 year olds to a theme park) and won't be home 'till late.

So, my friends and I have concocted a devillish plan...
S&G are doing a free concert outside the colosseum in Rome...we're gonna drive down to see it.
15 hours there, 15 hours back!

Imagine that! Going to see Simon and Garfunkle in Rome. Nearly a dream come bloody true!

I have seen Bob Dylan live, and Nancy Sinatra live. Never saw S & G though. Sounds like good fun.

I have a four-disc best-of S & G that I listen to often. They kind of bridged the gap between folk and rock, a niche that the Byrds also occupied.

I love them! I grew up listening to them. My parents were big fans. I have always been amazed at Grafunkel's voice. It is so angelic. My Mom used to play a cd of his, Angel CLare, I had to get my own coppy. It is so beautiful.

are they speaking now last time i saw them together simon walked off stage leaving g to sing alone??
