I suppose you are looking for someone you had contact with long time ago. Skype names are often different than real names (as email addresses) so it's not like phone book.

But in case you venture to call someone unknown, be sure you ar fully dressed and with make up on.

I would say three types of people would do this. Con artists, predatory males, and some children who don't know any better and think it would be cool to connect with people from all over the world.

That might be a worthwhile project, compile a skype phone book....
Maybe find known predators, like the sex offenders list...
