In my opinion and as you all know I always have one. I think they are for learning and trying different things to see if they work or not for Clan Challenges. Another reason I am in favor of separate ratings the Clan Challenges should have their own rating, but I guess it would not be possible due to cost of changes that would be required. At least that is my understanding.

After all the friendly, warm-hearted, well-meaning encouragement from my dear friend Very Rusty, I decided to try and improve my game by joining tourneys to get some variation in play and level.

Just won my first one.

I don't mention my tournament wins either but I guess when it is your first one ever in the life span one has been on the site, it something to be proud of.

obviously I cant enter tournaments unless I re-subscribe, when I am feeling a bit better I might just do that.

In the 18+ years I’ve been here I have entered “a few” tour ins and like the Toronto Maple Leafs, can’t seem to get past the first round.🤔😲👍

its a few years back I stopped when I had a heart attack my ratings were about 1450 and I had over 100 games on, the tournet I won was 1250, entered 3 won 1, might rejoin all being well.
