Rent?! Why are you paying someone else's mortgage?

Get a house, or something you own. Eventually, your rent will be free since you own it.

Many reasons to rent rather than buy such as

1. Can't afford to buy
2. Can't get credit to buy
3. Someone else has all the bills to pay
4. Peace of mind - if house prices fall you are not worse off

But honestly, not yet. I have dental insurance but haven't activated it. I had to go to the doctor and had to borrow money from my Mom to pay for it despite having insurance because I didn't know how to access it and I couldn't go to work due to bronchitis.
