    Right wing Hindu who was denied a visa to the US a few years ago is now PM of India, with implications of intolerance and perhaps attacks on freedom of press are issues being discussed now in India:

    A number of people at my company including the owner is Gujitati so I get in on their politics a bit.

    They say Modi is a hardliner in some respects and did not apologize for some anti Muslim riots by Hindu's which he is one as is most of the state of Gujitat. So time will tell.

    had 3 holidays in Goa I don't think it will make a hapeth of difference to the poor/the rich will get richer/the place is even more corrupt than the Uk

    Modi is known for cutting red tape for companies doing business in Gujirat so maybe that will transfer to the whole country, time will tell.
