Someone please explain

...how game #89261 between geniejml and I was a stalemate. He
still had legal moves left that I could see. He pushed his pawn to
promotion then that was it! I figured I'd take his pawn(queen) then
he could take my pawn w/ his king and so on.
Que paso?
....and I had just gotten my rating back over 1400🙁

I think this is one for Russ, Franklin! Either that or Jason has worked out a neat way to hack the
site and save himself from desperate positions!...I might just drop him an email actually...

I kinda thought it was cool but oh well. I knew the game was a loss
for me also but will admit it looked bad for me and he had me beat
dead to rights

Jason has not figured a way to hack the site. He is my son and I
know him. A long long time ago, did you see where I kept playing
after I had lost my king. LOL. RedHotPawn is a neat site but not
perfect.

true dad but I only had my king and opne pawn after his rook
captured mine. and when I moved the pawn that was the only
available move that I think I had??

That has got to be a glitch in the system...I see exactly what you see.

Weird...I hope that never happens in one of my games.

Thanks for you're input Dave, kyungj, John, and Jason. Last night
when it happened I had just hung my bishop in another game in a
move I didn't intend to make, so I was feeling a bit despondant
(sp?). Everyone who plays here knows how crazy chess can make
you. I'm over it. Slept like a baby and feeling refreshed and ready to
continue my march toward chess competence!!🙂
