This has now been implemented and is in testing on our dev' system.
It includes a very different new game page (I have reworked every form on RHP) but the this one has the most changes. There is now only one field to enter the name/email of your opponent.
If the name is blank, the game is created as an open invite, if you enter a name, it is a challenge, and if you enter an email of an unknown user, an email is sent to them informing them about RHP.
Release of this should be sometime next week.

I have just recently discovered rhp, but I have respected the open invite parameters. Tonight though I clicked an open invite for a "quick game" as all the others had a + or no prov. It's been a couple hours and the opponent has yet to make an opening move.I have become bored and decided peruse the forums, and found this thread. Anyway just wanted to through in a quick whine about people that mislabel "quick games" forgive me if I ramble, I thought it lightly relevant......

Hi
Just felt like having a bit of a moan.
I occasionally post open invites. Either because I have not many opponents online at the time, or because I need to boost my move count in the MAP.
I sumtimes also put parameters there, like NO PROVISIONALS or a MINUMUM OR MAXIMUM RATING.
For some reason these parameters are continually ignored. I know th ...[text shortened]... epost the invites. A small thing, but annoying.
It's more about the principle.

Problam solved, isn't it? What am I missing here?
