Yeah i know. Am always more sarcastic on a Sunday.

I still think i'd value vision more than hearing in most scenarios. Perhaps it goes back to my childhood fear of the dark.

I am intrigued by people's answers. Am I the only poster to have chosen hearing over vision so far?

I have my music collection, and my audio books, and podcasts, and a supply of conversationalists... 🙂

Yes I think so. Seeing my cats, and wild birds on a tree outside, the sun each day - in silence - does not appeal to me as much as losing myself in books and tackling the music I've been squirrelling away for years.

I would have to choose sound, I think. I'd miss music, conversation, birds, and so many background sounds.

    I'd learn Braille.

Would you miss the sound of birds more than the sight of them?

Have you already lost your sight or do you just not see?

    😲🙄😛
"I agree. The pictures of life before the loss of sight would be ingrained in your brain and maybe/likely sounds would help bring them to your minds eye." (page 1)

I am a musician so I would rather be a blind musician with excellent hearing than a deaf one like Beethoven was.

I think Beethoven had the opportunity to audiolize (exp?) and have his peace from the noise around...
