ok.

Why hasn't anybody produced a 10" long rectangular pan just to drop it into?

I'm sick and tired of getting steam burns waiting for it to bend a little, and a little more, to get the darned stuff into the pan! 🙁

I guess you could try a bread pan but then you have the problem of it not fitting on the burner and you will be more likely to burn yourself when you dump out the hot water.

The other solution is to just bake the speghetti in the sauce in the oven. That will work.

That is no way to present a spag bol. The spag must be white, rimming the plate, with spoons of lush garlic filled tomato sauce sliding down the minced beef.

"The secret is in the sauce" as they say. Don't worry about how it looks. Speghetti is comfort food.
