Damn, isn't that movie way too depresing? In comparsion to comics and animated series too. Just too depresing, even music is depressing. 🙁

I thought it was good that a few characters died, it makes a change to the usual comic book charade of the invincible hero and the bad guy who just keeps coming back no matter how many times you kill him.

Yes but it is sad, you want entertaiment with action movie and then there is this bitter end. And Venom is Skinny and to human-like. He should be more misterious, instead of his skinny crying voice 😕

I thought it one of the most flagrant examples of the "film industry" milking pre-teens (and the necessarily accompanying parents) in the name of revenue stream from the Spiderman (or any another) franchise.

The plot was shallow where it existed at all, contrived in scene transitions, and simply couldn't make up its mind whether it was a romance or an action film.

The kids love the action sequences, of course, so they'll tell you it was great....but if you are going to be adult in your synopsis, you have to start with the fact that it was just plain dire as adult entertainment, and was just about the best advert yet for BitTorrent and similar file sharing.

I didn't like it. Too many stories, too many villains. Too much of everything. It's too bad.
