Any tips ? My first three days off since i decided to quit for a few months is tomorrow, wednesday is cool - start training again, but any ideas on how to stop myself climbing up the walls on Thursday ?

depending on what made you want to drink in the first place?

social gatherings outside of the confins of a pub are a good idea particuary as it is nice summer at the moment πŸ™‚

Stopping drinking isn't the problem, stopping myself from headbutting walls in the short term is.

Supposedly sugar helps to curb alcohol cravings. (Something about alcohol converting to sugar.) Get yourself some candy bars.

ok well if drinking is still allowed then join a team or look around for a club of somesort what are your interests? That way you have more social connections as well as still drinking πŸ™‚
