Asking a specific person.
On page 2, Hand of Hecate's post was removed. For HandyAndy's "FAQ yourself" I had no reply. Great Big Stees made pleasant comments. Frank Burns wanted to banter. I complied. lemon lime answered my question directed to him in the "Bullying" thread by ChessPraxis next day (today); Frank hasn't been heard from. Often Reply & Quote posts contain directed questions. With the lack of new threads and only 30 posts/day (June 29-July 29), is this observation significant?

Last Chance, Frank (and that's not a Saloon in some Spaghetti Western Movie).

Think. Think of a number between 1 and 2,013 that you absolutely cherish. Now, post it.

Final Instructions: Frankie's number between 1 and 2,013 goes here ---> [__?__]
7 as mentioned before and 13. That was my number as the catcher on our baseball team. Damn I was good...

Is that why they put you in foul territory?

How can you say that Frank is wrong when picking his favourite number?

It should be his call, shouldn't it?

My Dear Ponderable, Frank Burns and his family happen to have been a close personal friends since 2007. We're in touch by email and phone calls. Our "Number Picking" began during a conversation in our chess game; it was a guy thing, trying to get the best of each other in a playful way. It carried itself to this thread for reasons I no longer recall. Frank gave me an unusual nickname with an imbedded number a long while ago. It stuck. No matter what numbers he picked, the reply would be "No" or "Wrong, again, Frank" until the correct answer dawned on him. Please tell me you understand.

I do understand this.

However since it is a private joke it might be embarrassing to Play it in public, wouldn't you agree?

... not if you know Frank. Guy admittedly loves an audience, more than most. He is a unique individual with a broad gauged sense of humour and good hearted to a fault, pouring out his forgiveness like a wine should the need arise. He's for real.
