The great minds are smart enough not to get into politics, and they make more money not joining the rat race.

I have had some pretty lively conversations myself with politicians. If they were actually the great minds you say they are ( perhaps you said that with sarcasm, couldn't tell by the tone of your voice), then the world would be in much better shape, than we find ourselves in.

My quote was in reply to trev's post, not your post. I never said you said the politicians were great minds. I believe you made a mistake.

Having said that: It is not to say that none of the politicians haven't been great minds. There are few Prime Ministers, and a Couple of Presidents I thought had great minds. You can only do so much even in that position.
