yeh was he tryin to paint properly couldnt see to do it and started of the jmpressionist movement by accident

Better check your history. He might have had the first modern era operation but they were doing that kind of thing in ancient Rome.
Very delicate cataract operations with very advanced (for the time) instruments, tube within a tube kind of thing. The only thing they lacked was the idea of lenses.
