Stress takes the lulz...

Stress takes the lulz out of life and eventually shortens it. Pressure (whether intermittent or relentless)

is what the days of our lives present to us all. Stress is what we do with it to ourselves. Your thoughts?

ability to manage stress differs from person to person. a lot has to do with pyschological make up and biochemistry. behavior modification can help, but is not 100% effective.

Stress is the physical and emotional result of the disconnect between expectation and reality.

On the money, Flea. One telltale sign of a stress work of art in progress... some poor soul getting

blindsided and mugged by reality and then agonizing over it while doing his or her wash in public.

I guess it depends on your inturpritation of stress, I think of it like deadlines and presure. But, having said that I think you're right that would be pressure. The negitive effects of stress include ulsas and hernias, so not so good.

Unqualified to comment on, much less offer a meaningful answer, to your academic question, Nordlys,

but from observation believe hypersensitivity may be a symptom of stress gaining the upper hand.

You misunderstand the definition of the word "lulz". LULZ is a corruption of LOL, the latter being a positive joyous expression meaning to laugh out loud, while the former denotes an objectively negative response which is pleasing to certain people but is essentially rooted in schadenfreude.
