speaking of subscriptions a competing site has raised its subscription costs for new and former subscribers by 75.95% to 133.55%

some might say only a CHESSMANIAC would do such a thing 🙂

I'm happy that PC versions of things, at least, can have ad-free (paid) access, although those prices seem a bit high. It's something I really detest about Android, you can pay to get rid of the ads but how do you get rid of the site's own ads?
