    in the display of ranking over time, the vertical axis (about 200 or 300) is squashed down into about 1 inch of vertical computer scree. In effect this makes it difficult to see the trend over time -- hundreds of points difference is all smoothed out into almost a flat line. Notice that because of this, the displays for ALL players look essentially the same! There are some great books on how best to display information; the best books are be Edward R, Tufte.

    But there are a few people around who will do Greasemonkey scripts.
    Most probably they can offer a graph that is meaningful.
