Damn bro....that's wicked. Sorry for your loss.

It's hard to explain why people take it that far. Maybe they feel as though nobody understands them. Maybe they feel as though they are alone with all they do.

So many variables that go with it.

Again, sorry for your loss.

The Great One has spoken.

Has anyone heard of MIND. Can't remember what it stands for but it is a charity that deals with this kind of tragedy. One of its statistics state that depression is the second biggest killer of male under 30 in this country. (England). Shocking but true.

I'm very sorry for your loss. If you need to talk to someone there are counselors available at (800)SUICIDE. They will talk to those struggling with suicide and family and friends dealing with the after effects. There's also an online e-mail service at http://www.samaritans.org/ these people can help or get help for you.

Personally I think severe depression strikes a large percentae of the population. I strongly feel that suicide is NOT an easy way out... imagine being so depressed that taking your own life actually seems like a good option... a relief really... finally something you have control over. Your thinking gets horribly distorted by perceived short comings and failures.

Take care of yourself and honor your friends memory by taking to heart the good things he brought to your life.

Do you ever bother to read a thread before you submit a post?

I know the pain you are going through. My brother committed suicide 5 years ago. The worst part is the feeling that you could have done something to help.
