@wolfgang59 saidmicrowaves are great to heat or cook something fast, but wonder about the side efffects down the road for young people.
Went back to caveman living today.
Lots of half mugs of tea down sink.
Kids had cold milk on cereal for breakfast
Had to heat baked beans in a saucepan!
No idea how long to boil frozen peas.
MUST get new microwave at weekend!!!

@wolfgang59 saidDo you know for sure what will happen?
If you are wondering you are an idiot.
Tell me, you love calling the name idiot, but don't seem to explain "WHY" you are saying that. Don't you know Cancer has been believed to be caused by Microwaves in some cases?
Added to this, a microwave ovens’ cables and motor also give off high magnetic fields, often over 10 milligauss. Exposures of just 4 milligauss have been firmly linked to leukemia. Not surprisingly these magnetic fields have also been categorized as carcinogenic.

@wolfgang59 saidmicro wave? We are rich enough to afford Macrowave 😉

@very-rusty saidWhy "not surprisingly"?
Not surprisingly these magnetic fields have also been categorized as carcinogenic.
Had you already assumed that would be the case?
Walking into a room where somebody is smoking or getting too much sun is
far more carcinogenic than putting your head next to a microwave oven.
@wolfgang59 saidHere is what to do, stay away from both! 😉

Your question might be, do I use one (microwave). The answer is Yes, but if it affects me 30 years down the road I should be long gone by then so not concerned. 😛 Now if you are 20 and using one....I would have some concerns!

@Very-Rusty
In fact 30 years ago microwave ovens were in broad use. I haven't heard of a dramatic rise in Leukamia.
Plus safety measures were increased in the decades since.
@ponderable saidThey are a known cause of leukemia. In todays world practically everyone uses mirco waves. There was a time they said cigs wouldn't hurt you either. How WRONG they were eh...It is all about money at the end of the day, including the Microwave. Give us enough time and we will kill ourselves off! 😉

@wolfgang59 saidNo, you're not.
If you are wondering you are an idiot.
If you believe Ooh Scary Radiation causes cancer, you're a conspiracy theorist and therefore an idiot.
If you wonder whether not being able to cook a decent meal from fresh with or without the Machine that goes Ping is good for your health, you have found the problem.
