Stop talking silly Andy as if I am going to BBQ where people are drinking that outnumber me and did nothing but argue with me in the forums. I know I'd end up getting arrested as I don't back down from anything.

So I would say in my opinion I was smart not afraid. The easy thing would have been to go and see if any of you had the courage to say to my face what you did ...[text shortened]... y witnesses who would have a whole different outlook on what happened than what really had happened.
Bla bla bla bla bla bla ...

Do you always avoid places where people drinking outnumber you?

You were scared. You took the coward's way out.

There was a lot of applause when folks were told that you wouldn't show your vile little face.

Everyone knew you were scared. We knew you were taking the coward's way out.

And you are tough old guy behind your keyboard Andy.

Remember your way closer to 80 than I am. In person I probably wouldn't be too tough on you. I am not in the habit of beating up old men, well older old men than myself....LOL... I think you lack courage and hide behind others.

Just as you do on here Andy find a little group you can get on side and stick with them, you really do need them more than you know. When you go I will NOT be a hypocrite and say too bad, but I will miss our bantering sessions is what I will say.

Oh yes, I plan on out living you Andy! 😉

Not especially, but like I said I'll miss our bantering sessions, not your persona.

Ok time for me to get off of here. Don't pass in your sleep as I want to answer what ever silliness you come up with to say!!! 😉 😛

Would it be that one by chance:

Denison, R. Handbook of Paleoichthyology. Placodermi 128 (Gustav Fischer, Stuttgart, 1978)
This is the book I had in mind:

"The Ends of the World: Volcanic Apocalypses, Lethal Oceans,
and Our Quest to Understand Earth's Past Mass Extinctions"
by Peter Brannen, published by Ecco in 2017, now in paperback.

[Note to VR: I know you're sitting on the edge of your chair
waiting for me to die. That may take a while, and you ought
to find something more enjoyable to help pass the time.
Read a book! The one listed above is a good place to start.]

Sounds like an exciting book. (and probably it is more up to date than mine 😉 )
