Girlfriends...they seriously get in the way of chess sometimes!
I was fourth for quite a while, and always thought that I'd be passing jeffreyk to move snugly (only 40,000 moves or so back) behind vaknso and Rhymester. Wasn't to be though, and raeford and you Luck have streaked past me. Oh well 🙂
Does anyone else think the MAP ladder should be renamed or rejigged? I mean jeffreyk and I have come nowhere near being in the top 5 most active players for the last couple of months, yet there we are. If I was to make ten moves a month for the rest of the year then there's a chance I'd still be in the top 20 Most Active Player list.
Maybe rename the MAP ladder to "All time highest number of moves made" (Hmmm catchy), or some such thing (rookie5 would then get a deserved place on a leaderboard) and then create a new proper MAP ladder on the basis of the MAP of the month table (thus allowing Rhymester to be at the top in *two* tables! 😉). Just a (heretical?!) thought.
