you probably think that you are taboo free and that these things are for the primitive "other" races, but I bet I can name at least one taboo that you subscribe to whereas "others" quite rightly ignore the taboo you have in place for it has no realistic grounding.
lets take eating for example.
most non-muslims deride muslims for not eating pork, believing ...[text shortened]... d animals?
if not why not? think about it, it is an unfounded taboo that you have in place.
