Guess a person can live with just about anything if he or she doesn't think too hard. Freedom of speech is desirable and beneficial, valuable privilege and powerful force. We arrive at the truth through open dissent and honest disagreement among both respectful adversaries and trusted friends. Repression of responsible freedom of speech, directly or indirectly, represents a suffocating kiss of death... which diminishes individuals and eventually relegates national entities to the dust bin of history.
