can we not have an indication on the task bar that we have a move to make rather than having to keep leaving another site to check?

Set up email move notifications, then set your email client up to pop up something on screen using whatever program you can. Or just set up email notifications and check your email more regularly.

i found out a thing, quite by accident, that works for me...
i use firefox for most all my browsing, so i do not know if this works for any other browser...
the tab bar across the top lists a summary of what each tab shows, right???
before leaving redhotpawn, go to "my games", then click on the lil icon at lower right to have rhp check for the next available move...
as you navigate to any other tab, the tab for rhp will show "my games", until a game becomes available for you to move and then the name of that game will show on the tab...

just watch the rhp tab, while you peruse yer porn or facebook...

Lets say you have FB or email on the tab bar and your playing chess, if some make a comment on your post or you get an email, a 1 will tell you to have a look! lets have that happen when we looking at FB and someone move at chess.

At school kids altered my last name (O'Dowd) to odood! and i used to see my family as my dudes, so... it's a south London thing lol
