Ok - so I've left this a bit late. I have an assignment due tomorrow (NZ time now 21.00 hrs) and as per usual I am doing it via chess. BUt it is a reasonably subjective topic and it is one which really has frustrated me to no end
Now the title
Students work best with firm teacher direction and management
So any thoughts to an aspiring secondary school teacher anyone? Like anyone at all??????
Basically everything I have read tells me consistency is more of a key than actual firm management. Any management works as long as the teacher is consistent in their discipline and consistent with their routine.
Anyway - make what you will out of the topic - any feedback would be welcome (like your views)
cheers
Aidan

more than needing structure, students need the opportunity to create their own structures. discipline will never be a replacement for self-discipline.

Thanks Prad - I agree with that whole heartedly - although I'm not so good with the words.

If you don't mind me using that last line of yours I think thats a great conclusion.
Now all I need is a main body and introduction :-)
Thanks

well, i think you are going about writing this the proper way. start with the conclusion, then do the body and finally from all that figure out your title 😀
please post it after you are done - i'd like to see it.
