It’s incredible what some people can put themselves through to raise money for others. Here’s another; a dad who walked 700 miles barefoot to fund research into his young daughter’s rare illness. Chris Brannigan (40) walked from Land’s End to Edinburgh Castle.

The marathon a day with one leg however is truly inspirational and an amazing feat.
@wolfgang59 saidI had not heard of him either, but what an amazing spirit.
Canadians will have heard of him ... I hadn't.
Can you imagine running a marathon each day for charity?
With one leg!

They have had the Terry Fox run every year it has raised millions of dollars for Cancer research. Unfortunately he wasn't able to finish his run as the Cancer came back. People actually finished the run for him.
