Many are salt of the earth and yet have remained naive. Many more are streetwise, savvy and have become cynical. Only a few discover

there's a tertium quid option or third way. It's probably best described as 'wise as a serpent but harmless as a dove'. A full awareness of

motives and unjust circumstances without being hard wired bitter and mean spirited. Not seeing into but through things. Smiling anyway.
