I tried to post a reply to someone in the Discussion forum. But it just wouldn't go.
So, I tested here, and I could post.

Then I went back to (this is really, really boring, sorry...but you did ask....) the discussion forum and just posted my answer (without quoting the previous post) and it worked.

So, now I'm trying to quote you, to see if that's the problem or if it was just a momentary lapse of reason.

Well no, it's actually quite embarrassing.
They're a bit black and blue and a wee bit swollen. The pain's gone, although that's probably down to the marijuana.

I've tried to fix the pedal as well, but the screw's sort of in deep in the metal thing. I've tried all sorts of turn-screw-machine-things and none of them can get at the screw (although it isn't a screw, it's not got a groove to stick a screw-turner in).

I don't really know what it is. It's sort of round with flat sides, so I presume there's some sort of applience which fits around it. I've found something adjustable with rusty handles, but it's gripper thing can't fit in the whole where the non-screw is.

I'm getting well frustrated here.

There''s a special tool for removing them things without removing your fingers first. Most bike shops should have one handy. That's if we're talking about push bike pedal removals. If not, tell me to mind my own....😀

A mate of mine once copped a rather painful shot to the gonads whilst playing cricket. As he keeled over and collapsed, his Dad yelled out, "Don't rub them, just count them!".

And so that is my advice to you.
