Worst decisions we make are when we're under the control of our emotions. It's equivalent to the rational mind being henpecked.

Now for some it's a "nice" story that can, in your view explain our existance and what will happen to those who don't share your view but who's to say that the other religions aren't "the right ones"? Talk to any of them and you get the same insistance that theirs is "THE TRUTH". In some senses I am a bit jealous of the comfort you derive from your beliefs but I'm a bit disappointed in your dogged isitance that yours is the right one. How many wars have been fought over the differences in peoples views of whose is the right one? How many souls have been lost because theirs was the wrong one? I have no religion although over the years I've tested many but in the end I've found none of them has really given me any sense that "God" (whoevers) is as forgiving as they all seem to let us believe. Since we are unable to get someone who has died to let us know what happens "after the end" I'm going with the idea that we just become one with the earth and eventually are forgotten and I'm OK with that. Now can we please move this to the Spirituality Forum?
Andy, your are dead wrong on every count: (1) Fundamentalism is an extremely narrow, legalistic, overly zealous, crusader distortion
of Biblical Truth. (2) Isha was in fact created (bara... built) as the second member of the human race from Adam's rib to complete him and
to be fulfilled by him. To serve is honorable. They served and complemente th certainty the eternal destination of your own soul? All empty words if you don't.
