Armchair Thriller sounds familiar, but not sure if it was US or perhaps a show on BBC? They play a lot of BBC stuff on PBS here in the states.

Dr. Who (long ago)
Are You Being Served
Ab-Fab
Armchair Theater???

Love Boat was good. Just like:

Fantasy Island
Charlie's Angels
CHiPs
Barney Miller
Fish
Alice

So many old shows....

Bonus questions! Who can name all the shows they can remember with Micheal Landon in them? [i](I can't!)

I can remember only three 😳

- Bonanza
- Little house on the prairie
- Highway to Heaven

But think that these may have been the only ones that arrived to my country...

That sounds about right... He would prefer the other shows you forgot stay forgot.... I am sure!

Little House was a cool show, for being so lame if you think about it. I held a night job back in about 1996 and would watch it every day at noon as repeats... I don't know why but I did and I liked it! Followed by Highway to Heaven. Why I watched that I don't know either...

I would sob like a little girl.... I mean... I found it touching. πŸ˜‰

These are the shows I remember:

Benson (The butler)

Family Ties (Michael J Fox)

The Waltons (I hated that one.Night John Boy,Night Mary-Anne,Night Jim Bob....Hell I hope they never wake up!)

Three's Company (John Ritter
:'( )

Night Rider (Forgot the actor's name aaarggghhhh!!!!)

I also remember Bonanza.I was a little boy and it was great.Manolito was my favourite character)

Tales of the Golden monkey (Guy flying around with a dog)

Then there was this story about a guy and a boy who travelled through time....The Voyagers maybe?I loved it.The guy shot himself by accident in real life.Women wept,he was quite a hunk.

That is about it.

AAAAHHHHH I remembered the guy from Night Rider!!!David Hasselhoff.A real pain.

Knight Rider....

How about when Kit went against his brother Kar. That was cooooooool!

Almost as cool as the episode with Michael Knights Evil Twin.

Steve Austin- The Six Million Dollar Man...'we can rebuild him'. My brother had one. i had to have the bionic man and challenge him with about 6 action men with helicopter, jeep , the works. Now if he'd had the bionic woman with him he may have stood a chanceπŸ˜€.

"Dr.Brain: "I also remember Bonanza.I was a little boy and it was great.Manolito was my favourite character)"

Manolito was a character from "The High Chaparral"

You are getting things mixed up ... Bonanza is older than The High Chaparral. πŸ™„

What call my attention is that in this thread (except for my first post) there wasn't comments about

- Married with children and
- Alf

both relatively new shows that til the most young in RHP must know for sure!

do I missed a comment?

Same thing with respect to the oldest πŸ˜€ (like me!) regarding my last post... (or wasn't it my last post? 😳 )

Yes, I know, I'm a little bear... but I'm an old one!

Michael

P.S.: Phla, I assume that we are the youngest here... πŸ™„ πŸ™„

Littlebear... Are we the youngest??? I sure hope so! πŸ˜‰

Anyone remember any good Japanese cartoons from the 70's and early 80's?

Speed Racer
Star Blazers
Dangard Ace
Grandizer
G Force

???

Good cartoons... but not the normal silly Hanah Barbara or Loony Toons stuff. Cutting edge if you ask me.

There are other ones for sure. And I'm not talking junk from the 80's or later like:

Thundar the Barbarian, He-man, or Auto-bots.... GI Joe.... Thunder Cats.... etc...

Phla:

I think that the main purpose of this thread has passed inadvertent...
If we aren't capable of remembering the simple things with which we were happy a (long?) time ago, we are dead...

I can remember today, when I was a child and came back to home from my (primary) college, that I seat in front the tv and take my cup of milk with cookies, that always prepared for me with all her love my grandma.

Time goes on. And the tv thing (like it or no) was a point of meeting with my wife, and we (after our journey of work) shared our supper seeing our favourites shows.

Oh my!

So is nostalgia. All along an entire life :'(

THUNDER CATS....HO!!!!

I loved those when I was a kid, Thunder cats, He-man, Transformers, e.t.c. Sorry, Phlab! πŸ™‚

Littlebear, I was a huge fan of Married With Children, tried to never miss an episode. I never really got into Alf though, only watched it when nothing else was on.

Mike Hammer, holy cow, forgot about that one. That made me think of the other shows I watched with my dad. The Fugitive, The Odd Couple, Hammer, Werewolf (I think that was the name, the beginning of the show had Phil Collins music- it was a werewolf being hunted by a bounty hunter?) etc.

I'm trying to rack my brain here, trying to remember the shows I watched with my grandma. It really wasn't all that long ago, sheesh!! I can remember Miami Vice, Murder She Wrote, Hawaii 5-0, Hunter, Hart to Hart. There's one more that I can't think of the name- with Robert Ulrich. Anyone know?

Memories...πŸ™‚:'(
