Three times in my 4.5 year career here at RHP, I've reached exactly 1539 (my highest rating here). The last time was a few days ago, the time before that almost a year earlier, and the first time almost a year before that. The first two times I had to be away from the site for extended periods and got timed-out down to about 800 or 900. Now i'm here again, and i can't get past it. Maybe 1539 is the number of my personal nemesis or something. Now i've slipped back to 1487:'(

If you get back up there, play a quick game with a low rater, ignore all your other games and you might break through the barrier and remove the curse (i did it to see if i could get over 1300, the flip side was that i came tumbling down afterwards like a ton of bricks).
Not sure if its ethical or not (im not up on the nicities of this site) but hey, who cares! 🙂
