The difference between great and average is how often you take risks.
Accept risk as a normal part of living.
View risk as a part of the process of exploring your world.
Make note of the lessons you learn
with each chance you take and move on.
Forget about the consequences of taking chances.
Risk opens you to only a temporary change in direction
that can set you straight for your next success.
If you're brave enough to risk,
to temporarily live outside of your comfort zone,
for a short period of time, you're big enough to win.๐
The difference between great and average.
#1 way to explain, is how hard you are willing to work at your objective.
What seems great to one may appear average to another. Only your heart can give you those answers. If you achieve your set goals, then in my opinion, your doing great-even if you cant beat Micheal Jordan, but you are improving your game!
Now here is great vs. poor
Giving time to your children - great.
Putting them on the backburner while you watch tv - poor.
Smiling at your wife when she walks in the room - great.
Saying hey honey as you keep your eyes on the ball game - poor
Teaching your kids love for people - great.
Teaching them prejudice - poor
Loving/respecting amimals - great
Abusing/hurting animals - poor
Kind-hearted - great
Mean-spirited - poor
etc. etc. etc.
