I think Dennis Leary summed the Doors up best:

"Jim Morrison -- I'm drunk, I'm nobody. I'm drunk, I'm famous. I'm drunk, I'm dead."

And good riddance too. The Doors were mediocre at best.

Nico was a total bore. So was her music. A highly overrated woman who went on stage with some vague act.
Met her once backstage. All she did was moaning that she was so sad. Really. Not once, but the whole night. She even let the audience know it.
