This is the story which like so many a B grade movie script that should end but doesn't.. pick up the thread take it a wee way and give it a new ending...... maybe they'll make a mini series of it. (not)
After fighting in the alien wars and finally restoring a relative peace to the universe, Billy and Jane were together again. Finally they were on holiday time to relax and refind each other.
Deeply in love on their pleasure cruise to the Martian settlement of Hoxwentia. Hand in hand as they gazed through the port hole at passing asteroids they couldn't help notice that the temperature was rising in their cabin.
Just then there was a loud bang. An explosion in the engineering section. They rushed to the corridor where people were screaming frantically trying to reach the escape pods. There were more explosions as they joined the panic.
At that moment at Hoxwentia base Jeremy Slimery watched his deep space scanner as he plotted the path of the inbound Cruiser. He gasped in disbelief as it suddenly exploded.
