The first time my name was mentioned as a deadline in a newspaper was when I was about 13 or 14 years old and won two snooker competitions in a row. My local club played a Friday night, sat and Sunday tournament, I won the sat and sun and it read... Trevor at the double. Good times.

First time I was mentioned I was probably 11 or 12 after reaching my first final.

I appeared in the 'Births Deaths and Marriages' column of the local rag when I was a new arrival to the human race.

Several. It's part of the job. First one, though, was when I was a toddler and there was a fierce legal battle involving truly yours.

In chess column of news paper they used to publish such small new as results of category tournament. When I won II and I category, it was published. One of the first mentions. Late 1970´s.

In 1976, Dallas chess tournament (picture). I tied for first. Numerous times (interviews) in local newspapers as chess organizer (usually misquoted). Television once, promoting 4-way chess. Radio once, interview about being a chess instructor .

(edit) And I got around an 8 page bio and interview in Jen Shahade's book, Chess B***h, Women in the Ultimate Intellectual Sport.
