When are they going to paint the first through third bridges?? 😕
The First through Third bridges are long gone. The Third bridge was destroyed shortly after the Mesozoic period. This is the primary reason that the dinosaurs died out. Tyrannosaurus Rex could not hold a paintbrush properly with those short arms and clawed hands and consequently their bridges rusted and collapsed while they were on them. Had the dinosaurs built their bridges with pressure-treated timber instead they would still be here today.

The first through thorough third bridge were thoroughly thought out through time, with thouroughly three thought thirds of thought teams of thoroughbreds that thoroughly thred success. In hindsight, to thoroughly think that the third thought thorough team was thoroughbred made no thorough sense to be a the thorough thought process. 🙁

Disaster! They've finished painting the Forth Bridge, and not going to start again for another 20 years. A great metaphor now falls out of the English language. Any ideas for its replacement? (For our American friends the Forth Bridge was a metaphor for a never ending task, one which when finished had to be immediately restarted).
Perhaps the never ending universal task of changing the diapers of children of all ages.
