I'm sorry if the thread title has spoiled it for people who haven't watched it yet.

Not interested in other people's private lives, thank you. Whether the
wife is good or she sucks, it's the husband's business.

I'm sure I watched that last episode like months ago.
There hasn't been a third series I've missed has there?!

edit: I did not realise I've seen 6! I must watch more than I think I do.
And now that I know there's another series I'll be watching that too 🙂

That you find it excellent says nothing at all.

Only if we knew you very well could we distill your opinion into something. Facts have not been mentioned, so all clear as far as I am concernde.

(In fact I don't know the series, but won't start it because of this thread)

My own 'good wife' enjoyed it but i wasn't so keen. The main actress was rather annoying and played the role as though doped up on morphine. (I bet Ponderable wants to watch it now).

Anyone who wants to avoid seeing a spoiler in this thread knows how to do it.

The final episode and season displayed an interesting symmetry with the situations and events of the first episode and season. Justice was served, to some degree, closure was had, in some ways, and a loose end was allowed to remain loose. No pretty package tied with a bow.

I was somewhat disappointed in that ending. Fantasy/trance/dream sequences annoy me at any time, and the lack of a definite outcome is really appropriate to season-end, not series-end. It's a bit like reading a book where the last page has been torn out.
