I never thought it was a great game. I think a great game is when both players play a sharp line of play and have chances to win. Game ten of the Lasker Schlecter title match is such a game. The game that Marshall played the Marshall Gambit or Marshall Attack vs Capablanca may be considered a great game. That game shows how well Capablanca could play through the complications of the middle game. Capablanca's real chess power was his middle game play?

This and "The Evergreen Game" are 2 examples of chess at it's finest.
