Not really. That's like saying that by understanding how a four stroke piston works, you can build a car. The folks at howstuffworks.com aren't going to show people how to actually make a bomb for heaven's sake!

i had a look - the nuclear bomb stuff that they have on their front page is just a dirty bomb.

while i am on the point: did you know that half of the radioactive stuff at a mine is left at the site?

it is no longer stuck in that little place it has been trapped in for millions of years - it gradually gets spread out and makes a mess all over the surface - including the water.

australias national parks are covered in uranium mine tailings BEWARE.

dirty bombs are nothing compared to that mess, (except the bomb could be in a city)
