Me thinks Ponomariov has demanded too much hoping the match will be cancelled. In that way he will avoid a devastating beating by Kasparov. His chess career may not survive such a beating !
From what I've read Ponomariov seems to be acting like a spoilt brat. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he have great success as a child? That may explain it.
