Russ told me that he can't change the code to bounce males out of the 2006 Ladies Tournament. So he asked me if I wanted to continue to run the tournaments as stated or delete them entirely?
Well, I've been a chess promoter for 30 years and I wanted to do something special for the female RHP members. I rather liked the idea of promoting a women's tournament. They have women's tournaments everywhere else, so why not here?
I don't think we should let one or two guys ruin the fun for the girls. So the tournament is on.
Since it IS a tournament for the ladies, I'm expecting to buy two t-shirts for whoever the lady winners are. I, like Russ, can not keep guys from entering the ladies tournament, but if they say they are ladies then that's good enough for me. 😉
