Title explains it really; however, if it gets cut off for some reason, the topic is...

The Last Movie You Watches; And Score Out Of 10

War of the Worlds (2005) - 8/10
Batman Begins - 7/10
Mars Attacks (found on DVD really cheap 😀) - 8/10

Coffee and Cigarettes. The title alone means that it would have to be really rubbish to do worse than a 7, and the bit where Jack White plays with a Tesla coil and discusses it in an obliviously interested way while Meg humors him is sufficient for an 8. The rest of the film does enough to hold it there.

C.R.A.Z.Y. - Hilarious and very touching independent French-Canadian film which I give a 9.5/10. I would be shocked if this film doesn't win best Foreign Film at the Oscars this year (not that I've seen the competition).

As I said before, "It was good for what its worth. Giving you a visual perspective on some key elements of the book. Alot was left out though(including important parts). All in all, I would recommend seeing it if you are a Harry Potter fan. Just don't set yourself up for seeing a masterpiece for you will be very disappointed".

War of the Worlds.

Gotta give it a 9. Steven Spielberg is the man. Parts of that movie had me doin' a butt crawl on my chair.

3 thumbs up. The third thumb isn't really a thumb, though.

You wanna give a reason?

Don't give me crap about how the story wasn't original; I've heard that millions of times and it never gets funnier to explain to the ignorant people that War of the Worlds 2005 is closer to the book than anything. The book was written in 1898, and the way this movie sticks to the still fantastic storyline is excellent. The movie does get a bit slow in the middle, specifically with Tim Robbins character, and the ending has been modified, but that was to be expected from standard Spielberg fare.

Overall, the acting is especially good (many people hate the movie simply because Tom Cruise was being a dick and jumping on couches, but no matter how you slice it, the man is a good actor), the script is excellent (the final shoot was modified, especially the ending), and the story is a brilliant and original story (especially when you are adapting something that is over 100 years old, and contained detailed reports on microbiological species, ie bacteria and germs). People say the ending is unoriginal - it WAS THE ORIGINAL ENDING FOR ALIEN INVASION SCENARIOS.

Cinematically, WotW is one of the better movies released this year.

Oliver Twist (new version) 7/10

However, I do think points alone don't do justice to a review.
