Had a similar experience with a guy in a convertible. (Was decapitated in the crash). Found out later he was somebody I had gone to school with (2 years behind). Still randomly think about it.

That's grim.
I was driving with a pal in Austria a few years ago. We came upon a biker that had hit a car head on. Two English nurses pulled up behind us and ran over to try and help.
The biker was bleeding profusely from a head injury and died at the scene.

If you wanted to mess with someone you would tell them to get the biggest hog they could afford. Then stand back and watch the carnage.
I wonder if Suzianne will admit that she was lying when she said that she was told to "stick to little girlie scooters" or that that was even the tenor of the advice she was given.

Lighter than air news. How stories balloon over time.

I would say on a scale from 0-10, 0 and falling.

Because "Bloody hell, you'll kill yourself" is SO helpful.

No, the tenor of his posts was worse than that, He can thank me later.

Something, something, something about "flouncing my skirt to all the old men in the forum".

That's why I pointed out that Suzianne has misplayed the 'misogyny' card umpteen times.
Says you.

Men don't think misogyny exists because "I've never experienced it."

No kidding, I've actually been told that.

The Damsel In Distress Syndrome comes in many forms and variants.
Mostly in the heads of men.

Don't be so silly. I read the exchanges.
You're not, and probably never will be, in the Club.

You probably saw a redacted/altered version of the messages (screenshots, whatever), designed to make him look not quite as bad as he was in that thread. You did not read the entire thread.

One question:

[1] Did he refer to "little girl scooters"?
Read my post. You act like you never did.

Pay specific attention to where I placed my quotes.

Don't claim I claimed something I never claimed.

I was actually trying to help her

That's what my question [2] is getting at.

She’s made that up.

She's misplayed the 'misogyny' card umpteen times.
You really should be more careful whom you defend.

Because it's SO hard to remember that my name here, Suzianne, is because my first name is Susan and my middle name is Anne. Durr.

"I don't ignore you, I remember your name" isn't really a selling point.

I see you.

I remember writing a post about International Women's Day, and getting immediately slagged on by male forum members, including you, asking me "When is International Men's Day?" (That's every day, btw) and then last year YOU posted about it. What a hypocrite.

As a reminder (since you never listen to me), it's coming up again on March 8.
