For someone who quotes me regularly, you get it wrong a lot.

I never used the word "misogyny" or "misogynist" in that entire thread.

My first response to you in that thread was in response to you posting "She's on one of her dreams again." I said this:

Yet another dude trying to tell me, "You can't do that, little girl." But my all-time favorite is something along the lines of, "You'll kill yourself."

I've proved them all wrong so far.

Geeeez, I might end up selling it in a couple of years, after I get this out of my system. A bike is impractical for summer around here anyways, it's just too damned hot. But the plan goes forward. Little steps for now.

I also later posted this in that thread:

You also said this. You did say one of them. The other was a synopsis of the attitude I get from you and people like you.

You've done it for years in the Spirituality Forum, and this is why I don't post there like I once did. It's just not worth it to me any more. My time and energy is better spent constructively. My time tilting at windmills is over.

If I would have used "misogynist" in the thread, this is where it would have been.

I did not use the word "misogynist" OR "misogyny" in that entire thread.

Also, despite what @fmf seems to think, I never quoted you as saying "little girl scooter". That was a synopsis of what you did say, like Trev's quote above.

Saying "I didn't say that" is a horrible defense of the things you DID say which were in the very same vein.

I opened the thread with that, saying I was thinking about it. This was at the beginning of that journey. I admittedly didn't know enough about it at that time.

Any moron can do enough research to ascertain that's just too big for me. One of the first actually solid decisions I made was that I'd have to pare down the engine size. I had also decided that agility was a higher factor for me than sheer speed. My 400 is plenty fast enough and it's as agile as a monkey.
