I can't find the thread about who's all going to London and since I'm neurotically nosy and paranoidally pryable, I would like to know who's all coming to the London meet-up.
I'll be in London from Thursday to Monday and I'll be staying at http://www.ashleehouse.co.uk/ which costs 14 pounds a night and is slap-bang in the middle of London. I think.
Anyhow, hope to see some of you there!
And here's a quote about roll calls:
"Here's the deal, folks. You do a commercial - you're off the artistic roll call, forever. End of story. Okay? You're another whore at the captialist gang bang and if you do a commercial, there's a price on your head. Everything you say is suspect and every word that comes out of your mouth is now like a turd falling into my drink." - Bill Hicks -

the hostel is apparently 2 mins from kings cross, and the line goes straight from heathrow as it looks 😀
Originally posted by StarrmanI could run there quicker than that.
Yup, you should get from Heathrow to the hostel in an hour and a half tops.
It takes about 15-2O minutes on the Express. I used to live in Reading which is 2O odd miles further away from London, and that only took 25 mins.
That's to Paddington station where you can then take the tube to wherever. Kings Cross....'bout 1O mins.
ps, I wouldn't recommend a two minute walk at night near Kings Cross.😉
pps Unless you've got a few mates with you.

The train from Reading to Paddington takes 25 mins because it's a train, not a tube. But it's then another 20 minutes on the tube to get to King's Cross and of no real use as a comparison anyway.
