I've forgotten all that, just want to say I never made a full game from scratch.
I'v been whanting to be a video game designer for the longest time, where did you learn your art and are there programs you can buy to make your own game and other things you can get to help make a game?
I also liked to make maps for 3d games, and purchased programs like "Thread" and "World Craft" to make maps. You needed to know a little different code to make traps based on triggers and get enemies to behave certain ways in certain areas. Fun fun fun.
Most games like 3d shooters can be modified if you do a search on "planet (game-name)" or "editing (game-name)" I won't even bother to buy or play a game unless I can edit the darn thing. My friends all laugh, I get pretty good at the games, but hardly ever finish them because I am so busy messing around with the game.
My last game I messed around with was GTA3... but before that it was Never Winter Nights. Got info on how to make sassy little armor suits for the girls, and info on how to edit the code to have multiple henchmen and ran around with my following of sexxy little battle babes.
Resource Hacker is a neat program to look into also. This will allow you to open up .exe and .dll files and see what is inside them. I think I've told you this before... you are young and can do anything you want, I was about 10 years older than you are now, and ten years later I am finally getting paid to mess around on my coputer. Take classes if you can, learn everything you can online and with any luck you'll be good at what you decide to do... and get a fun job that pays the bills. I am also sorry to say it is a rough business to get into, I do it as part-time work... my buddy is full time now, but you never know when a company is going to go belly up and leave you in a new area with no way to pay your bills.
Good luck bub!

Originally posted by CFCDriver has alwas focsed alot more on the way a car handles and crashs in real life, GTA focsed alot more on the guns and stuff and not the driving in there game if you hit someing your car becomes a bomb and blows up a pretty big area, driver your car dosent blow up but you lose parts of your car like bumbers and hoods and doors depending on what you hit and how hard. you wreck your car, just get out and not have to worry bout it blowin up
From my expieriences GTA does exactly the same.😕
driver 3 is also makein missions alot tofer with guns and being able to go inside most buildins and driver has 30 sq miles to move around in each sity, i think its 5 to 10 sq miles for each city in GTA.
and comraering realisim driver 3 makes GTA 3 look like a cartoon
