Have you ever seen the Evil Dead series? Or any of them? Probably not, but you might have seen the last one "Army of Darkness".

I reccommend them if you ever get the chance. They're a bunch of really cheesy semi-horror/comedy movies. Low budget at its best! What gives them a following (like meπŸ˜‰) is in that they have a really special charm about them. It also doesn't hurt that my favorite actor (Bruce Campbell) plays the main character. Another good ficiton with a pinch of fact.

There were the first films done my Sam Raimi, who you probably know directed Spiderman. In fact, the old car Peter Parkers uncle drives is in every movie Sam ever made, including all three ED movies.

Ok, I'll resist the trivia urge for now. Anyway, just check them out when you get a chance. πŸ™‚

right....you say that

the hobbit was a prequle to Lord of the Rings but doesnt mean if it wasnt made that LOTR wouldnt be here
btw The Similron (a book based before the Hobbit) was the first book JRR Tolkin started but was the last book he finished
It does because if the hobbit didn't happen then there wouldn't be a ring would there?...

Look, you guys are both right. LOTR could have existed without The Hobbit, but it couldn't exist as it does. The ring was in Similron, but without the Hobbit, Frodo couldn't have had the same events occur to him.
