Former USSR aircraft mechanics must have been manly men.
The MiG-25 used to have pure ethanol (300 liters) aboard for some reason. The ground crews called the plane "the Flying Bar", they used to steal the stuff and drink it-real manly vodka!

Any of this you buy these days mostly has a percentage of methanol added, making it undrinkable. Also it would taste bloody awful.
