While some may be obvious and use their real names, many of us do not. I was just curious why we chose our names we have on RHP?

"Joe Fist" is not about some weird sex fetish I have. I was three years old and I thought it would be a cool name to change it to. Either that or Evil Kneviel (already taken and also my childhood idol, don't ask me why).

Don't ask about Phlabibit, he's told it a bazillion times. πŸ˜€

D43M0N...uh...*ahem*. I just took a name (Daemon), and threw in corresponding numbers for some letters. I didn't know what to use as D, M or N.

So Daemon or (D43M0N) has no other significance for you? It's just a name you liked, right?

A racing horse who made me win quite some good money, every time he runs it's a sure place,if not a win!
Now he's 8 y.o. and doesn't run too much,my biggest stake on him was 50€ each way (win/place) ,they payed him 8/1 winner and 2/1 placed for a grand total of about 600€ with one bet.
It happened three years ago in Naples (Ravello is also a seaside near Naples)

Mine is simple...no matter what life hands you, or what anyone says to you, you're still somebody. They can beat you senseless, but you're still somebody. They can take your money...but you're still somebody.

It's all about looking at things with a positive eye.

The Great One has spoken.

Copied and pasted from the M&M Coalition site, πŸ˜‰:

Seraphim = the highest rank of all angels. Usually pictured with 3 sets of wings and common in most 20s-50s films as the angels that gave life to a fallen hero. I first learned the word when reading it in Poe's "The Raven", where he mentions Seraphims. Their wings are almost always pictured pointing up to the Heavens. Always accustomed with the color White.

Vulture = obviously the lowest of all birds. (besides the damn pigeon. rats with wings, they are!) Feeds on death and in the past were believed to have been spawned by Satan and that they could not be killed. Wings are pointed down, I like to think towards Hell. Always accustomed with the color Black.

The two terms contradict each other in every which way and that fits my personality perfectly, since I can be very contradicting in my beliefs and what-not.

So there.

Starrman as that's what I am πŸ™‚ Surname is Capper-Starr. Friend of mine came up with it whilst singing along to David Bowie once:

'Capper-Starrman waiting in the sky, he'd like to come and meet us, but he thinks he'll blow our minds etc....'

My parents went forward in time and found out that someone named "rwingett" will become the alltime greatest chess champion in 2010. They then went back and named their first born child after him. So I've got 6 years to improve my chess skills, or my parents won't name me after myself. Hmmm...but that's what I'm named now, so it must mean that I do become champion.

Your parents went forward in time and STILL decided to have children ?
πŸ˜‰ Perhaps they thought it would be funny to bring someone up to love the Tigers, but never see them win the World Series - kidding.

Bah! The Tigers have won two World Series in my lifetime. In 1968 and 1984. Plus they won the American League East in 1972 and 1987, but lost in the playoffs. They'll win again. You'll see. You've just got to have faith. Oops...I said the "F" word! Aaaargh! American Atheists will cancel my membership if they find out.

Almost. When I was a child, my parents took me back in time to the 1907 World Series to see Ty Cobb. But a lot of other people were going back in time that same day, so we got stuck in traffic and missed the game. So no, I never saw him play.
